Description

SEEK system consumes information from other resources via a common interface (such as ITIS)

  • SEEK System is aware of other systems (perhaps they appear in registry)

Basic Flow

  1. SEEK system locates a set of taxonomic data contributors
  2. SEEK system retrieve information from all the data contributors through the same programmatic interface
