Informatics Training For LTER And OBFS

Is a 2 week intensive workshop at University of New Mexico designed for field station and data managers to learn the skills and tools necessary to resolve issues of data acquisition and archiving that can be taken back and applied at field stations.

    • Topics include: Information design management including ARCGIS training.
The training is part of a National Science Foundation funded Research Coordination Network (RCN) project, entitled the Resource Discovery Initiative for Field Stations (RDIFS). The RDIFS project aims to develop several critical databases that promote the discovery of personnel, data and information, and infrastructural resources at North American field stations (i.e., Organization of Biological Field Stations (OBFS)).
