float function compareNames(string name1, string name2)Returns a floating point value in the range 0..1 providing an indication of the similarity of name1 and name2. A value of 1.0 indicates name1 and name2 are identical. Questions:
The measurement is relative to a scale- what defines the scale? Is it some measure of distance from absolute extremes of the taxonomic domain?
