Durham
Evaluate viz tools there too - classifications and comparisons. Bob, Alan Weakley, someone else, up to 5. Monday or Tuesday.
Our perspective on GUIDs.

GUID meeting
Jessie (concept/name chair), Matt, Stinger, Bob, Steve Perry,
What are Taxon requirements for GUIDs? Who specifies rules, implements business logic and issues guids? Does GBIF have an architecture? Distributed vs centralized GUID server? Important in merging data.
Differentiate between guids for name, concept, specimens, publication? Jessie says we must treat them as different things
