- A major component of SEEK is to inform biologists and ecologists about ecoinformatics and to provide the tools, training, educational materials and forums of communication and collaboration necessary to incorporate ecoinformatics into their research process. To reach this goal SEEK has developed three primary methods of community outreach and collaboration:
