AHM 2004 Meeting Notes Biodiversity

Technical needs:

1. Data
• NCEAS dataset (old, but complete; did someone locate this?)
• LTER data (new, working on EML)
• LTER data grid...how to register/access the EML?
2. SMS
• is the functionality from Steve's scripts going to be handled by the SMS engine, or do we need to create some actors?
• can we create "white-box" actors for needed functionality to experiment with "semantic annotation propogation"?
• data model for enabling schema and data access and manipulation
• other cool actors along with nested transpose we could support? continue brainstorm of these actors from san diego meeting.
• priorities for implementation/tests
• mark up of given datasets
