- have working prototype input form with validation and related bean with Struts
- work with Duane and Mark to get this working with Metacat via Pathquery (handling query building and displaying results)
- work on getting getting a ecogrid query version (EcoGridQueryLevelOne instead pathquery)

- current ecogrid query work is dependent on Registry which isn't currently available and hasn't been finalized

- Writing paper on Abstract Model And Exchange Schema for Taxonomic Concepts
- Updating TDWG discussion WIKI on proposed draft standard exchange schema
- Addressing design issues with exchange schema as they arise from SEEK/KU and TDWG community
Current tasks / bugs
- Finishing up a simple ontology/keyword actor/data search for Kepler. Most of the code is done/working. Just need to fit it into what Chad has done. I am using Jena, so I need to work a bit on getting it to go faster as well (Jena appears to be very slow for even simple reasoning tasks).
- Finished up preliminary design for a comprehensive annotation tool. Want to write some code as a quick prototype, and try to get Rich and Dave something they can work/play with.
- Working on hybrid-type theory.
Significant issues
- We still need a mechanism to assign ids to datasets, actors, and workflows. Who is working on this_ Shouldn't this be EcoGrid's job (i.e., assigning/maintaining ids)_ Are actors going to be stored on EcoGrid_

- Bug fixes in the GrOWL OWL rendering code

- Created ontologies(object models) of VegBank and TCS in OWL using Protege
- Loading model from OWL file
- Nested panels to show and edit taxonomic data according to specific taxonomic data models
Current tasks / bugs
- Developing data proxy for TCS data
- For test purpose, designing and implementing a database for TCS data
- Developing a proxy that transfers data back and forth in the format defined by TCS model.
