SEEK Postdoctoral And New Faculty Training January 2005

The Long Term Ecological Research Network Office at the University of New Mexico, in collaboration with the San Diego Supercomputer Center at University of California at San Diego, the Natural History Museum and Biodiversity Research Center at the University of Kansas, and the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis at University of California at Santa Barbara, will be conducting a one-week training workshop in ecoinformatics and relevant information technologies for new faculty and postdoctoral associates.

Location: Univeristy of New Mexico Costs: All travel, food and lodging will be covered Qualifications: PhD in Ecology or related fields. Less than 3 years in a postdoctoral or tenure-track position. No knowledge of information technology necessary, but a desire to learn new technologies is critical!
