- Finishing up formalizing a general-purpose annotation language
- Mainly focussing on a generalized data model
- Also on the desiderata and how realized
- Extending the ontology-search in kepler
- More work needed on the file infrastructure in Kepler
- Need to understand broadly how this might work for annotations at least
- Would like to look into the existing EML tools for accessing data via structural metadata

- have functional but not feature complete web UI

- this week work on make the above more feature complete and integrate the pieces to display at least some raw results in the webapp.

Significant issues
- Current performance of Metacat queries (using EcoGrid) is too slow to be usable.
